These tiny chewy cinnamon apples are so simple to make and awesome to have on hand. Throw them in fauxgurt to make apple cinnamon fauxgurt, sprinkle on top of salads, add to a trail mix, keep in your purse as finger food for antsy babies, stir into muffin batter or knead into bread dough, add to your granola, classic oatmeal, or overnight oats…the possibilities are clearly endless!
Tiny Chewy Cinnamon Apples
These delightful bites of apples will add the perfect little sweet something to just about anything.
Ingredients
- 2 large apples about 3-4 inches in diameter
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Dice apples into cubes about 1/4-1/3-inch wide. Should fill about 3 cups.
- Put apples on parchment paper and sprinkle with cinnamon, then toss evenly.
- Bake for about 35 min at 400 degrees, stirring at about 20 minutes.
- Allow to cool before using.
- Keep in the fridge and use as needed. Should last a few weeks.
