This healthy, filling, and delicious Sweet Surprise Cabbage and Banana Smoothie is a surprisingly sweet way to drink your vegetables!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup or 1 large handful shredded red cabbage
  • 1 banana frozen or refrigerated
  • 1 cup nondairy milk
  • 1 tablespoon raw flax or chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup cooked chickpeas
  • 1-2 medjool dates optional, only if you need things extra sweet. I recommend trying it without dates first.

Method
 

  1. Blend all ingredients until very smooth and creamy.
  2. Taste. If needed, add a date or two, and blend again until well incorporated.
  3. Enjoy!
